original_boxbottleRecently contracted by US Military and used by Winter Olympic athletes. If you’ve got a favorite pair that predates the iPhone, this AnyGlove potion will let you use them with a touchscreen display without having to resort to sewing conductive thread onto the fingertips.

AnyGlove is unique, however, in that it’s a liquid polymer that is applied to the tips of existing gloves. Just a few drops per finger will apparently do the trick on gloves made out of almost any material, although it may discolor lightly-colored fabric. It also isn’t permanent, as it needs to be periodically reapplied – one dose will last anywhere from several days to a few months, depending on the material and how heavily the glove is used.

Just a few drops is all that’s needed for your smartphone or tablet to recognize your gloved gestures. And while the liquid might stain lighter colored fabrics or yarns, it’s completely invisible on darker materials. It’s not permanent, though, you’ll need to reapply the AnyGlove elixir as often as every few days depending on how active you are in your gloves. But a single $15 bottle should last until the warm summer returns.
